Folklore as a means of disclosing the ideological and artistic content of stage choreographic art

Summary/Abstract: In the context of choreographic development of Ukrainian culture in the modern state building process this work contains the dance peculiarities of Transcarpathia, the basic components and typological characteristics of folklore as the mean of disclosure of the ideological and artistic content of national area dancing, reasonable priorities of choreographers’ practice, which must adhere to the expert, reviewed the conceptual criteria for different areas of local folk dance.
