Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the characterization methods to commit criminal illegal obstruction of journalistic activities. On the basis of the disposition article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the practice of its use by law enforcement agencies during the operation of the new Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine, the author proposed criteria for determining undue influence on the media, clarified common ways to commit crimes of this kind.
