Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the regulatory support of modernization of the higher pedagogical education in Poland in the late XX – early XXI century; it is determined that one of the foundations for the innovative development of the higher pedagogical education in modern Poland is a new Law ―About higher education‖ (2011);it is emphasized its focus on convergence and harmonization with the common European requirements, modernization and quality training of future teachers.
