Summary/Abstract: The new monograph by V. V. Komissarov devoted to works of the domestic science fiction writer and scientist I. A. Efremov is reviewed. The publication of the book is dated for the 60th anniversary of the publication of the main novel of the writer «Andromeda Nebula». The structure of the monograph is considered, the main problems are analyzed, strengths and weaknesses are noted.
