Summary/Abstract: This paper is a retrospective review of theory and concepts about the relationship between man and nature, which influenced the development of geographical thought and in certain historical conditions have the role of scientific paradigms. In this regard, the subject, methodological and gnoseological transformation of human geography has an explanation in the concept of the structure of scientific revolutions of T. S. Kuhn.
