Summary/Abstract: An eparchy of Tulcha don’t exist in Sultan’s firman from 1870. During the 70s year of 19th century, however, a great number of Bulgarians live in sandjak of Tulcha. In result, with the support of Alexander Ekzarh, Sadak pacha, a lot of Bulgarians from Bessarabia, and some members of the Literary Society in Braila a Bulgarian Horepiskopia at Tulcha is formed.
