Summary/Abstract: The echo of the essay by Bodo Hager and Fritz Wandel on problems of socio-cultural integration of late repatriates (Eastern Europe, 3/1978) was quite large, and it showed how extremely burning the problems are (see the contributions in: Eastern Europe , 11/1978, 6 and 7/1979). It also showed, however, that the range of opinions is wide-ranging with regard to all relevant questions in this context. This is illustrated by the article by Konrad Wypych, below, whose position is also to be expressed here in the context of the discussion. This is followed by an essay by Leszek Wilkiewicz on a seminar with young repatriates from the Soviet Union. Finally, we again give the floor to Bodo Hager, who at the beginning of 1978 together with Fritz Wandel started the discussion. Mr. Hager tries to summarize and evaluate the results of the overall discussion that we want to conclude for the time being.
