Summary/Abstract: The author of the present research considers the legal status of the society of owners of residential apartments in the residential apartment house. The author discusses possible forms of organization of the society of owners of apartments, and presents the results of his research on conditions of organization of the society of owners of apartments and quantitative criteria of the organization of Administrative Board. The author discusses the conditions of admittance to the membership in the society of owners, the procedures of exit and exception and suggests recommendations to changes in legislation.
