Detailed information resource in libraries of Ukraine for youth

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the work is to study regional information, provide access to the information resource of the region, its integration and popularization among local communities. The question of the role of regional information resource in libraries of Ukraine for youth in the formation of a publishing product for youth is considered. The methodology of the research is based on statistical data, comparative and chronological methods, which allowed characterizing the information resource of Ukrainian libraries for the youth of local lore. The scientific novelty of the results obtained is to reveal the influence of transitional periods of the development of independent Ukraine on the preparation and publication of the regional information resource.Comparative analysis of dynamics has made it possible to argue that the efficiency of libraries for young people depends on their qualitative manning and financing. Conclusions As a result of the research, it was revealed that the most active development and distribution of local lore editions took place for the period of 2008-2013, which is due to the rise of the socio-political life of the country and the interest of young people in the study of the history of their native land, the strengthening of the educational function of the libraries of Ukraine for youth in relation to National-cultural and patriotic education by means of a publishing product.It was proved that the main direction of the preparation of information resources of the regional linguistic direction of Ukraine for young people was the study of their native land, outstanding local figures and moral authority of the region.
