Summary/Abstract: Whether and how personality characteristics (MВTІ) affect on ideological preferences is a question that can be answered in several ways by seeking measures of right and conservative: 1. By determination of mutual influence between personality types and political self-determination and 2. By determining the levels of conservatism as indicators of political attitudes. The methods used are PSD, scale of conservatism Wilson and Peterson (Wilson, 1973) and MBTI. The sample consists 374 respondents. The results show that the right political self-determination is associated with function “thinking“ and at the same time, thinking types in two personality types in which the primary function of thinking are associated with lower values of their conservative attitudes. People who have a leading function “thinking“ have more right experience, i.e. they are voted for right-wing parties, compared with emotional respondents, where their identification by the center and the left has strong associative link. Conservative values are not characteristic of thinking types. The combination of mainstream features of the type defined conservative attitudes.
