Summary/Abstract: The present thesis attempts to present the vision of the dangers to a human included in JohnPaul II’s encyclicals. The causes and methods to overcome of the mentioned dangers are also discussedin the thesis. The analysis proves that the dangers facing by humanity are caused by irresponsible exploitationof natural resources and rapid technological progress which exceeds the spiritual development.Faulty, unfair distribution of goods in the world is the other source of threats to people. Another factorcausing a danger is the existence of systems which do not respect moral values and use violencewhich leads to destruction of human dignity. Basic human rights including the most important –right to life are violating. It is manifested mainly in abortion, euthanasia and death penalty.
