Summary/Abstract: Whistleblowers are a group of particularly vulnerable citizens. Their specific situation has been perceived in international and European legal acts, but is still insufficiently recognized by legal systems in majority of European countries. Author presents disadvantages of Polish legal system regarding that group of citizens. It leads to interesting conclusions regarding chances for better effectivity of international and European law on whistleblowers’ protection; and changes in Polish legal system.
