Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the linguistic and behavioural determinants of LGBT personswhich are referred to as przegięcie [overdoing]. The author employs as a research material the writing of Michał Witkowski, who was nominated for Nike Literary Award. The author of the present article holds an opinion that the multiplicity of patterns of masculinity, similarly as of femininity, nuancing the man‑woman opposition, subtilizing and precisifying the approach towards sexes, acknowledging the presence of the multiplicity of criteria employed for determining sex and the multiplicity of psychosexual identities, as well as performative theories of gender should undermine the basis of such characteristic linguistic and communicational behaviour.
