Institution of indulgences in legal terms with practical application in the shrine of Skrzatusz

Summary/Abstract: This article is dedicated to the topic of indulgences. The author draws particular attention to the history of this institution in the Church, writes about the legal aspect, sometimes confusing the faithful and priests, especially when it comes to the conditions of partial and complete indulgence. Four general layouts have been outlined and a list of indulgences is given, with particular emphasis on the role of the sanctuary Skrzatusz. As a sanctuary of the Diocese of Koszalin-Kolobrzeg (Kołobrzeg), it appears as a privileged and important place in the practice of gaining indulgences in the Christian life.
