“My School Won’t Become an Obstacle in My Education” – an Image of the School in Student’s Motto in View of the Script Theory

Summary/Abstract: Most of the schools have their own motto that encourages and gives some instructions for the best execution of tasks and personal development of students and teachers. The motto in the transactional analysis perspective is very helpful in recognizing and analyzing the organization script. It’s useful tool, that can describe system, procedures, communication styles and schools goals, that can lead to the victory or to the defeat. This article attempts to analyze school’s mottos but not in theirs formal version, but those that were suggested by the students. Thus the reader has an opportunity to find out how adolescents evaluate their schools and also what is their attitude to their own education. Certainly this picture can be a specific basis to put forward series of practical conclusions.
