The structure of the meaning of the lexeme pride. Language draft – based on today’s public debates

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to show, on the one hand, how pride determines the contemporary public disputes, on the other hand – which of its meanings are revealed in the discussions in media and in what way they affect on the level of the talks. Observation of public discourse provides good information about how to shape the semantic structure of the lexeme pride, which allows to confront the obtained image with a dictionary definition.
