Summary/Abstract: In this article the author argues in favor of specificity of political philosophical project of Hannah Arendt as a unique synthesis of Greek and Modern experience of the field of the political, that constructs the idea of praxis as free action. The relation between zoon politikon and zoon logon echon in Arendt is realized through forms of “being-together” in the public sphere, where political subjectivity and political community are founded at the same time. What is at stake is a movement that foremost occurs in the dimension of “future of the present”, where the idea of “new beginnings” appears as constitutive for conditions of possibilities of the political. That way, the decisive characteristic of the political is found in beginnings as responses to events.
