Summary/Abstract: In this paper author analyzed the emergence and flow of a mass nationalistic movement of the Croats and abolishment of Serbian liberalization at the end of the sixties and at the beginning of the seventies in the 20 century in former Yugoslavia, as an expression of a dogmatic responsibility in equation (“nivelizacija”) of Croatian-Serbian relations for the survival of the joint state. Symmetry of the battle with Croatian nationalism and Serbian liberalism for the sake of “re-storing the order” in Yugoslavia, later served as a key argument in the turmoil that followed.
