The love and the death in old Bulgarian classic literary works

Summary/Abstract: The semantic realizations of the cultural concept love and death in the history of Bulgarian literary language are examined in this paper. The linguistic facts of old Bulgarian manuscripts and hagiography of s. Cyril are used. The system of phrases and sentences with words with -люб-, -прѣлюб- and its distribution in different cultural contexts are analyzed in a relation with cultural concept love and Christian ideas. The death as a love to God is examined in old Bulgarian culture.
