Inviting the audience to co-author the artwork is one of the major topics of contemporary art, while the field of art aided by the digital technology offers the most examples in this direction. Consequently, I decided to research this field with the means of my artistic practice. The results of my research took the form of three artistic projects that I completed in the last years: ‘Time Square, interactive video-performance’; ‘Illusions of the Presence, installation and interactive video- performance’ and ‘W/o/a/nder, photography installation’.The three projects investigate the relationship between oneself and the technology, between the experimentation of the tangible world and the virtual world, between the historical documentary and the archaeological imagery in art. A very large part of our daily experience occurs in the world of technology, in the digital space, thus a de-materialization of the reality, a de-bodyment of the self becomes more pronounced. It is this phenomenon that led me to undertake artistic projects in which I invite the viewers to investigate the notions of space, time, identity, history heritage, giving them access to both their own memories and the collective ones with the aid of technology. Thus, my artworks question whether the virtual world marks the end of the experimentation of reality or it just gives it a new physical and metaphysical dimension.
