Summary/Abstract: A literary piece of art is an aesthetic body consisting of a lot of aspects. Stylistic, which studies this body, aims to reveal the meanings and values of prose by showing different language uses and stractures in literary pieces. Works of stylistics are usually carried out either writer-centered or passage-centered. In this study the prose-centered side of stylistics has been examined. The role of words in a passage and the use of sentences in the style of the literary piece has been identified. Latife Tekin was the most suitable for the study in this respect. Latife Tekin is one of the noted writers, who had a great role in Turkish Literature. The early works of Tekin focuses on people migrating from rural areas to metropolises. One of these works is her novel named Berci Kristin Çöp Masalları. One of the most important achievements of Latife Tekin, this novel tells about the establishment of a suburban district made up of rubbish by poor families migrating from the country to a city. In this work, the stylistic features of Berci Kristin Çöp Masalları have been determined. The work has been analysed under five headings. First of all, information was given on style, factors determining style and stylistics theoretically. Then, it was mentioned how to analyse the style. And finally, the stylistic examination of the novel Berci Kristin Çöp Masalları was conducted according to the pre-determined methods and classification order. At he end of the examination, some certain figures and percentages were obtained. The results were put into tables and then evaluated so that these numerical data could be seen altogether. This way, the style of the novel Berci Kristin Çöp Masalları by Latife Tekin was tried to be specified in general.
