Process management in local government administration coherent with good governance concept

Summary/Abstract: The starting point for the refection in this article is a problem how transformations within the trends of public management affect the postulates associated with the process orientation of the local administration. In view of this particular problem, the author presents the results of comparative analysis of postulates related to process management and recommendations for local government administration, in the light of the “good governance” concept. The publication is presented as part of a broader research project under the title “Adjustment of management systems in local government administration bodies to the concept of ‘good governance”, funded by the National Science Centre on the basis of NSC decision No. DEC-2013/09/B/HS4/01143.
