CYBER TERRORISM AS A SERIOUS THREAT TO HUMANITY

Summary/Abstract: The rapid development of information technology, the global information unique space and further developments of access forms into the global system, in addition to the positive aspects of the development of the humanity, brought also the emergence of new forms and ways to carry out criminal acts, which already overcome their local character, touching upon the human existence itself. The terrorism, as a criminal act, is being appropriately adapted to new forms of technological development by overcoming in real time national and regional borders and thus becoming a serious violation to global security. Besides studying it from the international political prism, a deeper study of this crime form in legal terms will help national criminal laws to better adapt themselves to this rapid and global phenomena.
