Summary/Abstract: This paper trying to demonstrate some linguistic features that appear on Transylvanian origin population in two Romanian villages in Serbian Banat, Vojvodina (Satu Nou and Sân Mihai). We chose these villages because those are not purely Transylvanian (as are other villages in the Serbian Banat), the population from this part of Serbia has the origin from Romanian Banat and Oltenia, where we discovered specific features of Transylvanian speech, preserved until nowadays, against influences from other dialects and strong influence of Serbian language. This paper will discover some identical lexemes in both places, but also different from lexemes of neighboring localities, populated only by Romanian from Banat region; some lexemes with different origin that coexist in two local dialects and lexical elements found on Serbian population of Transylvanian origin. Our intention is to explore some peculiarities of less studied Transylvanian speech from Sebian Banat region, representing an initiation into future researches on the peculiarities of speech of endangered population in Serbian Banat.
