Summary/Abstract: The article examined the phenomenon of lexical interference Ukrainian and Polish languages, but the ways to overcome it in Polish language for teaching philology students of Ukrainian higher education institutions. Characteristics of lexical interference levels in speaking students, the analysis of quantitative and qualitative indicators have helped to establish that basic errors were related to the impact of lexical interference, characteristically high and medium levels of its manifestation. According to the author’s selection of dangerous interferometer lexical units to teach the students should be made subject to the rules of frequency , the principles of thematic and semantic rules.
