Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes surname suffixes of Ukrainian origin, present in Polish anthroponymy of Polish-Ukrainian borderlands. Linguists are particularly interested in Polish-Ukrainian borderlands because here Polish culture along with the Polish language has been affected by the local Ruthenian (Ukrainian) culture and language. Therefore, Polish- Ukrainian interference is reflected in the phonetic and morphological structure of analyzed anthroponyms.
