Analysis of the Structural Changes in the Economy under the Influence of the Foreign and Internal Investment Flows

Summary/Abstract: The present study examines the type of interaction between both kinds of investment flows – internal and foreign – and the direct foreign investments direction of influence over the investments behavior of the economic subjects in Bulgaria. A qualitative characteristics of the investment flows is made and the degree of progressiveness (or regressiveness) of the internal and external investments branch structure is evaluated. The effect of the investment flows’ structural changes over the processes of economy restructuring in the country is measured and the tendency of their development is found.
