Russian bulgarian relations in the years 1877–1913: rise and decline of panslavism

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the evolution of the Bulgarian-Russian relations from 1877 to 1913. Two relatively independent period were identified. In the first – to 1885, the strategy of the Russian Balkan policy contributed to the positive development of relations between Bulgaria and Russia.
