The Trypillian culture settlement Bernashevka I

Summary/Abstract: The present article focuses on presenting the results of archaeological research at the early Trypillian settlement Berna- shevka I. During the field research, the remains of 16 habitation complexes, three housing pits and two pavements have been uncovered. Also, the approximate internal floor planning of the settlement, the architecture of the constructions and the interior details of the dwellings were established. Their analysis allows us to observe some common elements but also some differences compared to the later stages of the Trypillian culture.
