Summary/Abstract: In 2009, the economic crisis fully manifested in virtually all areas of the real economy. The economy in each country, including Slovakia, lost on its dynamics, which resulted in the reduction of production and this had a major impact on reducing the number of jobs and subsequent dismissals. This development has resulted in a worldwide recession in many countries has caused a number of serious macroeconomic imbalances. These imbalances include high unemployment.
