RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH SERVICES

Summary/Abstract: Besides the overall achievements in the directions of improvement of the working environment, and the devotedness of the professionals working on and being responsible for the occupational health and safety, the workplace continues to be a serious health risk of professionally exposed workers. The author of this article is giving an overview of the situation in Macedonia with occupational health and safety services, and gives perspectives for improvement of the system in direction of more successful approximation with the European laws and standards.
