Summary/Abstract: After the formation of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes schools of a national minorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina faced many difficulties. The government where by all means trying to stop normal work and functioning of these schools. Thus the certain measures that where taken forbid preforming classes on any languages besides Serbian, Croatian and Slovenian, then forbid enrolling new students in these schools, and finally started with closing those schools who had classes held in foreign language, etc. Process of closing these schools went on gradually in accor­ dance with governments wishes. Closed schools of national minorities where declaratively made possible to reopen under condition that they fulfil the demands of the government. However, in practice, everything was done so they would not reopen, and in time all these schools where closed.
