Summary/Abstract: The article shows the features of emergence and activity of the Union of the unions and the professional and political unions of the intelligentsia and employees in 1905—1907 in Russia, the evolution of their political platform from liberalism to revolution, relationship of these unions with cadet and socialist-revolutionary parties and with Bolsheviks, the significance of the intelligentsia unions.
