Summary/Abstract: According to different scholars several connections and intercommunications exist betvveen folklore and other disciplines, drawing attention, particularly, to the most important, history. Generally, the investigation and comprehension of these connections, help to know not only the definition of the features, real characteristics and the autonomy of each scientific discipline but as well the areas to be exploited and keeping in mind the achievements, further development, the reciprocal influences or give -takings. This articles aims to highlight the rapports of historical epic with history as a very important issue in albanian /olkloric studies. It is concluded that folkloric evidences should not be matched with the historic fact. It is as well highlighted that both disciplines should and have to be in the service of each -other.
