Social support for children and youths in internet network – psycho-pedagogical help with use of multimedia tools.

Summary/Abstract: The Internet has a great worldwide application nowadays. It is an integral part of interpersonal communication and the rate of development of the various components of social life. Such components are also social and psycho-pedagogical help. In these areas, we can observe an increased usage of internet communication - mainly general and specialized media mediated counselling. It can be observed that the media (especially Internet) is being incorporated into system of social support. a prime recipient of such counselling is the youths generation uses their active communicative skills broadly. At the same time we observe the increase of problems with children and teenagers. The parents and the carers do not always understand that young people do not manage the problems of their life. As a result of it are mass dysfunctional behaviours in youth environment. The development of “opened counselling” is in oppose to this problem and is addressed to people with specific problem like addictions or depressions. This counselling is also accessible by Internet. The practise shows however that other counselling services (like psycho-pedagogical services) are also opened for youth’s problems by making counselling by Internet.
