Summary/Abstract: Tadeusz Miciński is a dark writer. His eruptive, feverish imagination – and what follows from it, his work – is enlivened by the paradox. However, the creaky tone of that work, the dark, depressive aura that pervades it, the meandering twists of obscure references and breaks should not deceive us. It is not the destructive power of those gestures that is the essence of the work of the author of Nietota. The stake of his project is the light of the truth, or putting it in a different way: revealing the metaphysical background, the core and the meaning of reality.
