Phenomenological Inspirations in the Cinematic Thought (1)

Summary/Abstract: The article is divided into two parts. In the first part, the general situation of phenomenology in the context of cinematic knowledge is outlined. Then, the concept of film phenomenology included in the book by Vivian Sobchack, The Address of the Eye, is presented. In the second part,turn, the phenomenological approach to the film by Allan Casebiera will be described. The whole article contributes to the use of phenomenology, and even more broadly – philosophy in general,one of the detailed humanistic disciplines, namely the film studies. Artykuł podzielony został na dwie części. W części pierwszej zarysowana jest ogólna sytuacjafenomenologii w kontekście wiedzy o filmie, a następnie przedstawiona koncepcja fenomenologiifilmu zawarta w książce Vivian Sobchack The Address of the Eye. W części drugiej z kolei aprezentowane zostanie fenomenologiczne ujęcie filmu autorstwa Allana Casebiera. Cały artykuł jest przyczynkiem do tematu wykorzystywania fenomenologii, a nawet szerzej, filozofii w ogóle,w ramach jednej z humanistycznych dyscyplin szczegółowych, jaką jest filmoznawstwo.
