KAIZEN – DETERMINANTS OF EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION IN BUSINESSES AROUND THE WORLD

Summary/Abstract: Kaizen is undertaken in many countries all over the world as a method of improving the performance of the company. The aim of this study is to convince entrepreneurs to implement kaizen and it will be achieved by presentation of various aspects related with this management philosophy, factors determining effective realization, problems appearing during kaizen implementation and how to avoid them. On the basis of articles describing kaizen realization in countries with different economic and cultural conditions, it was created report of various technics used in kaizen implementation and effects of this activities. It enables to entrepreneurs to estimate, which method will be the most efficient in their businesses and how to protect against difficulties emerging during the realization. The mentioned countries were chosen in view of various economic conditions and society’s approach to changes. The most precise informations concern Poland – owing to possibility to talk with employee working in one of Polish company, it was described system of kaizen in this firm. It is particulary essential for Polish entrepreneurs, because of their unbelief in kaizen success on Polish market.
