Summary/Abstract: The role of Law is not only to protect the freedom of people fairly and reasonably, but also to protect and promote values. Personally in us, but also within our culture and its evolution, is a spiritual source of confirmatory answers to the question of what truly constitutes the actual values that should be protected by Law. Human experience and the truth about human life and its meaning, define the space of human behavior and values protected by Law. At the beginning of this millennium, man and his government acceded to the full-scale revision of the Law, characterized by abolishing the spiritual source of answers to the question of what constitutes real values, which should be entitled to protect. This contribution analyzes the cause of this process and its concrete expressions, especially in the legal protection of marriage and the family.
