Summary/Abstract: This work is a reminder of the 160th anniversary of the birth of Muhammad Enverī Kadić, historian-chronicler, poet and epigrapher, who was born in Sarajevo’s Gazi Mehmed Beg neighbourhood also known as Bistrik.The paper provides Kadić’s brief biography and a brief review of his creative work as well as his contribution to the study of the general and the cultural history of Bosnia. The occasion for this piece is eighty fourth anniversary of Kadić’s death.
