Blessings of the Waters on the Eve of the Epiphany in Slavonic Euchologiums 11th–15th Centuries

Summary/Abstract: The article studies Slavonic text of the Blessings of the Waters on the Eve of the Epiphany in slavonic euchologiums 1lth–15th centuries. The Slavonic tradition may be subdivided into four redactions. The first redaction is found in the Euchologium Sinaiticum and two serbian euchologiums of the 13th and 14th centuries. The article describes the oldest liturgical elements of this redactions and their history in Slavonic traditions. The serbian euchologium Q.n.I.24 containing fragments of the oldest slavonic text is published for the first time.
