Resolution of Crises in the EU

Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes some of the legal aspects of the migration and debt crises’ solutions in the EU, particularly situations where EU law itself does not provide convenient legal instruments used in normal situations, or when for political reasons their use does not seem appropriate. Then especially international instruments or special EU law tools come into play, such as closer cooperation and simplified amendments of the founding treaties.
