The protection of the permanence of the councilor's work relationship

Summary/Abstract: The Polish labour law protects the employment permanence of employees in councilor's office in the territory self-management units. Legal measures which restrict the freedom of the employer to notice, terminate and change the scope of the councilor's work relationship, consist in the obligation of receiving beforehand the agreement of the territory self-management unit's council in which the councilor performs his/her mandate. The employer's notice, termination and changes within the scope of work relationship in the case of the councilor's employee is possible only after receiving beforehand the agreement of a given territory self-management unit's council.
