Summary/Abstract: In large operations such as foreign trade transactions, profit, expressed as a percentage, usually is not large and can easily be transformed into a loss if the currency of payment changes its rate unfavorably against the currency of the other contacting party. It is useful to affect an evaluation of all currencies against the actual values and especially of goods in international markets sepa¬rately in the transactions, related to significant amounts of money and agreed payment respite. This fact is very important, when compared to currency fluctuations, since the general depreciation of currencies in relation to goods subject to foreign trade contracts is unchanging and one-way.
