The author notices that basing on fundamental and metaphysical dimension of human person, Krąpiec developed a theory of personal (cultural) activity in such spheres as cognition (science), moral conduct, and creative or religious activity. He also elaborated a theory of family, society, nation, state and international community, emphasizing the relation between individual and society. In the metaphysical perspective he apprehended the educational, political and economical activity of man. In all those domains he underlined the specificity of man as personal being who is able to intellectually cognize, love and self-determine. In those factors Krąpiec saw natural source of person’s dignity, his rights and duties. Concluding, the author claims that the anthropological texts of Krąpiec contain the most adequate to reality, i.e. the most truthful vision of man as personal being.
