LIVNO SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS DURING AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN MONARCHY

Summary/Abstract: This paper was written with the intention to present the schools of Livno that operated during Austro-Hungarian Monarchy with a special reference to their teachers. In this way the data about the schools and teachers of Livno in this historical period have been consolidated for the first time. Apart from the tabular presentation of schools and teachers, the ways of erecting schools and their functioning as well as the social position of teachers in those times were also investigated.
