State Regulation of Holding Development in Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: The present paper objective is generalization of the effects of agro-industrial entities’ activity in Ukraine and outlining the main trends of their regulation by the state, with the aim of enjoying integration processes advantages. The topic expediency is stipulated by the need for finding new approaches to the state regulation of agro-holding growth caused by ambiguity of public perception of their operation and their impact on the development of the agricultural sector as a whole. The paper substantiates a necessity for strengthening the regulating influence of the state on development of large corporate structures of the agricultural sector of Ukraine’s economy. The positive and negative aftermath of agro-holding operation has been identified; the main determinants of their activity regulation by the state have been specified.
