Summary/Abstract: The article overviews the issue of Internet security. The authors cover various types of threats directed at the infrastructure involving IT systems and networks. Next, the means to ensure and develop the capability to protect them against cyberattacks are introduced. In this context, the special attention is given to CERT Poland (computer emergency response team) – a governmental unit responsible for coordinating response process to cyberattacks.
