Summary/Abstract: The study of an Italian psychotherapist and theologian is focused on the distinguishing of the basic characteristics of good individual direction of people in the various steps of their spiritual formation and typologies of the guides, including the examples of some specific pathologies, which we can encounter in this area. The author mainly investigates the qualities of the relation between the guide and the guided.
