Summary/Abstract: Non - profit organizations are increasingly turning toward the business sector as a supplementary source of financial means. This tendency is occurring at a time of a decreasing government support of the non - profit sector, an increasing competition among the growing number of non profit organizations, and a huge competition in the business sector. There are many different forms of cooperation between business and non - profit organizations and many different ways in which the business sector can cooperate with and supoport non - profit organizations. The form of cooperation that the partners will establish often depends on their goals. Some of these different forms of cooperation include corporate philanthropy, corporate foundations, licenced agreements, mutual promotional campaigns and projects on certain topics, sponsorships, etc.
